ILENE STRIZVER

The Type Studio’s creator, Ilene Strizver, is a renowned writer, designer, consultant, and lecturer in typography. She is an expert in every facet of visual communication, from technical to artistic. Ilene has published a great deal about type and typographic design and given lectures to experts in the area as well as students.

Previously employed by International Typeface Corporation (ITC) as Director of Typeface Development, Ilene created over 300 text and display typefaces in collaboration with esteemed and internationally recognized type designers, including Tim Donaldson, Erik Spiekermann, Jill Bell, Jim Parkinson, and the late Phill Grimshaw.
